What? In this class we will be knitting Snow Day by Jerry Burch, a beginner friendly toque with a classic ribbed edge. It is worked bottom up with simple decreases, for a seamless project you're sure to be proud of.
In this special workshop, you'll discover the art of knitting a hat just in time for the holiday season. It's a wonderful opportunity to craft meaningful gifts or treat yourself to a handmade masterpiece. The two-lesson series will start with how to cast-on and join in the round using circular needles, as well as how to knit ribbing and stockinette stitch in the round. The second lesson will focus on how to change from circular to double-pointed needles, how to work stockinette and decreases in the round with double pointed needles, and how to bind-off and weave in your ends. The workshop will also teach you how to make a cute pom-pom from scratch to adorn your new hat!
You will also have the choice of making a solid colour hat, or a two tone (see pictures).
