Knitting 201 Workshop - Monday, June 19th from 6-7PM

What?

Expanding upon your knowledge as a knitter by learning 

• How to read a pattern
• How to pick your yarn and needles 
• Metal vs. wood needles
• Circular needles vs. straight needles
• Knitting in the round: Magic Loop vs. DPNs vs. short circulars
• Hands-on practice with swatches and a gauge ruler (which you get to keep!)

In this workshop we will go into the basics of picking yarn for your project, but if you are interested in a more in-depth explanation of various fibres and their properties, feel free to check out our other upcoming workshop "Yarn: What Is It? From Fibre to Final Project" happening Monday, July 10th from 6-8PM
