A stockinette stitch toque with a naturally rolled hem. This hat is knit in the round. You may either use a combination of 16” circular needles and double pointed needles, or magic loop with a 32” cord or longer.

Needle & Notion Requirements

  • 5mm 16" circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

  • 5mm double pointed needles, 40-60" (100-120cm) circular needles for magic loop for top of hat

  • 1 distinctive BOR stitch marker & 3 other stitch markers

Gauge

19 sts x 28 rows = 4" (10cm) on 5mm needles*, or size needed to obtain gauge, after blocking

*Note: I am a tight knitter, so you may need to adjust your needle size accordingly.
